Cultural

This is the field in which IH truly does shine achieving high levels of performance and success in the ICC Cultural Cup Competition. Cultural events include: Debating, College Idol, Public Speaking, One Act Play, Dancefest, Choralfest, and our very own IH organised event, Bandfest. To top this off, however, at IH we run our own in-house Variety Night, where residents (both spontaneously and premeditatedly) show off their various talents whether they be musical, comical, dramatic, dance… basically anything goes!

The IH Choir usually makes its first performance of the year at Variety Night. The Choir performs at Soiree and at Choralfest, an inter-college event at which choirs from each college perform for the public. Dancefest is another inter-college event that allows our dancers to perform. Residents’ performing talents find expression in debating, public speaking and the annual one-act play while our art show presents artistic and literary works. Art exhibited includes paintings, sculptures, short stories, poems, and photography.
